You deserve a partner in care who listens intently, clarifies the often-confusing landscape of ADHD information, and creates an effective, personalized treatment plan.
ADHD is a chronic mental health condition that affects your ability to concentrate and stay focused on tasks and can have a significant impact on your personal or professional life. It is normally identified in childhood, but many people with ADHD are not properly diagnosed until adulthood because their symptoms are misdiagnosed as anxiety, depression, or even OCD.
At BBH, we address your symptoms, thoroughly assess if you are dealing with ADHD and provide the treatment you need.
We are committed to supporting you on your path to improved mental health.
There are several treatment options available for ADHD, including medication, and lifestyle changes. At BBH, we work with you to create a specific medication treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
Although ADHD presents significant challenges, with the right diagnosis and treatment, individuals can manage their symptoms effectively and lead fulfilling lives.
Our 50-minute initial session is dedicated to understanding your medical and psychiatric history.
Once the evaluation is complete, we meet to discuss the results of the evaluation, answer any questions you have, and create a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
We provide ongoing support to make sure the treatment plan is working. We follow up roughly every 2-4 weeks until you are feeling better, adjusting the treatment plan if necessary. Recommended long-term follow-up frequency varies based on the severity of symptoms, but many clients check in only every few months.
We help you get the mental health support you need.
Caring for your mental health can be overwhelming and confusing. At BBH, we’re here to help you remove the obstacles that are preventing you from getting the diagnosis, prescriptions, and care management options you need.
Our goal is to empower you with clear explanations and treatment plans so you can focus your energy on your well-being without added stress.
Start feeling and living better.

While ADHD is often thought of as a childhood disorder, it can and does persist into adulthood. Many adults with ADHD may not have been diagnosed as children, especially if their symptoms were less pronounced or misattributed to other issues. Adult ADHD can manifest differently, often with less hyperactivity and more problems with inattention, disorganization, and managing time. Diagnosis in adults requires a careful evaluation of current symptoms and a retrospective assessment of childhood behavior.
At BBH, our primary focus is diagnoses and treatment of ADHD with medication support. We do not offer appointments exclusively for psychotherapy but do incorporate elements of common psychotherapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing into our practice. If you utilize insurance, you may see this reflected as a therapy billing code on your appointment explanation of benefits. We do not intend to fully supplant the services of a dedicated psychotherapist.
We do prescribe these medications but only when clearly indicated and entirely in accordance with all state and federal laws.
